A Call To All Filipino Youth
"Are the Filipino youth of today geared up to face the challenges of the new age?" A mass of response can be gathered upon one's inquiry of this.

In this age, the world is so chaotic that it leads to a lot of misunderstandings because nobody seems to take the time in opening their minds. Admit it or not, majority of the young people now are so wrapped up with technological bliss, teens desecrating their sacred beings, our friends wallowing in the rut of ignorance. Their lives are totally driven by something - guilt, anger, fear, insecurity, judgment, and even the pressure of globalization. They believe that life is a pack of responsibilities hooked and placed nowhere else. Some think that life is what they have to live for with no choice at all. Others complain that since life ends, why do they still have to live when all human beings in the end will die. And sad to say, many stick to that mindset that the youth cannot do anything, their voices are not heard and they were all having this useless existence.

Yes, my friend! Even you, yourself, could testify as you look around you and perhaps, at yourself. Hide it not this is the reality. The Filipino youth have messed up at almost all the line of its existence. No, this is not an exaggeration. This is the cold hard fact.

THE FIRE WITHIN EACH FILIPINO YOUTH HAS BEEN DOUSED.

This concern is no picnic under a mango tree. It shook my normal functioning. The fast pace kind of living today is not an excuse. But I believe this is not yet the end of everything.

This may just be the beginning.

DO YOU DARE TO CLOSE YOUR EYES AND JUST JOIN THEIR APATHY?

I am young but I understand. I see them - MY OWN KIND oblivious of their real purpose on earth, so sure of themselves, so spoiled by this indulgence. So SPOILED, that it is now high time to ourselves a jolt and wake up to a harsh reality. The future is in OUR GRASP. But do you want to have such future an irony?

LET US TAKE THE INITIATIVE.

Let us meet head-on. Let us not wait that our apathy devours us. Let us kill ignorance before it has the chance to rear its ugly head. Let us start a renaissance, a reawakening. Some of us are still unlearned, but we can learn.

GOD has a WORD, a PLAN, a ,PURPOSE, a DESTINY and a FUTURE in our LIVES!
"The Philippines has a prophetic destiny which is already coming into existence... We are believing God to raise up an army of young Filipinos who will lead this nation into a new day of righteousness and progress."

Fellow young Filipino, time is too precious to be wasted. If we misuse it, we lose more opportunities than we know.

"Everything on earth has its own time and its own season."

- Ecclesiastes 3:1

Let us not yield into indifference. The youth has the strength to stand out, be different and speak about what we believe. Let us be the carriers of God's Word to the generation next to us. And we, more than anybody else, have the right to claim this honor. We are the models of our younger brothers and sisters, for in them will the task be also given when the right time comes.

LET THIS BE A PART OF OUR MISSION.

"God is at work in the world, and He wants you to join Him."

- Rick Warren
The Purpose-Driven Life

The FIRE of the youth may have been doused, but God created us to be KNIGHTS who shall not rest until we have a roaring blaze in the hearts of everyone.

BE A KNIGHT. BE INVOLVED.
"Ignite the Faith of the Filipino Youth"

"'Ah, Sovereign Lord... I do not know how to speak; I am only a youth.' But the Lord said... 'Do not say - I am only a youth. You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for i am with you and will rescue you,' declares the Lord."

- Jeremiah 1:6-8

"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example to all the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

- 1 Timothy 4:12
