My life in year 2007 was a great testimony of God's goodness in my life. It was such an amazing history. It was a story that I could carry the rest of my life, and the best highlight was that JESUS SET ME FREE and I'M SAVED. I became a new creation. I was born again. And I love the feeling of having God near.

Here I would like to present what I want to resolve for this year. The year 2007 for me was defeat-victory combined. But I was so glad that still I ended victorious through Christ! Read my resolutions and agree with me if you want to resolve the same thing as mine.

• Live A Satisfied Life - I believe Jesus wants me to enjoy life and have it to the full.

  "I have come that they may have life and have it to the full." John 10:10

  I could see that the best way of living life is to give our lives away. I believe God has a purpose and a wonderful plan for my life and living with that plan results to the true fulfillment and true happiness.
• Be A Giver By Putting Others First - It's like not focusing more on my wants and needs. I pray that God would teach me how to put others first than myself. And I would like to start it through this blog by lifting up people through my prayers, stories, and other words.
• Live for God's Approval Alone - I know God loves me just the way I am. I pray that whenever I feel tempted on changing who I really am just to conform to this world, God would let me feel His strength. It's all I need. I want to live a year not relying to the opinions and approval of others. I want to live my life according to what God called me to be!
• Overcome My World - I won't let my world overcome me this time. I've been too much of it, being overwhelmed with the pressures around me. I believe God wants me to be the victor all the time, through my faith in Him. God promises us victory in every area of our lives! Remember that!
• Give Up My Addictions - I confess, I'm too hooked with my cellphone and with solving mathematical equations (I could live a day without eating just to solve mathematics). But I want my life this year free from all my addictions, give up what destroys me, and most importantly, give up what pulls me away from God - my true source of life and happiness.
• Meditate More on God's Word - Meditating is not just reading the bible. It's more on living with it, digesting it, thinking about it all the time. God's Word is the sword of our spirit!
• No Turning Back - This is it! Since I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him, there's no turning back! No turning back! No turning back! Why turn back????

A new year is a blessing from God. It's a new chance for us, a new hope, a new beginning, a new life. Remember, Jesus came to set us FREE! Let us not feel defeated. Let us not carry unnecessary burdens. Let's embrace the freedom Jesus paid for. Come on and join me with this prayer:

"Father, thank you for another year. Thank you for a new beginning. And thank You for sending Jesus to set me free. Lord, I embrace the freedom Jesus paid for on the cross. I release every burden and every baggage at the foot of the cross. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Lord, help me to understand Your plans for me. Help me to be strong as I walk with You this year. Thank You for Your unfailing love, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen."
